Donald Pelles, Ph.D.
Donald’s been practicing hypnotherapy in the DC area since 2007.

He helps his clients resolve difficult issues in their lives: stop smoking,
weight loss, anxiety, phobias, pain (including Fibromyalgia and IBS), dental hypnosis,
sports performance, and “getting unstuck.” Over 80% of his smoking cessation clients
are smoke-free after one year.

Donald is one of only a handful of trainers licensed by Connirae Andreas to offer Core
Transformation Workshops.

Before becoming a hypnotherapist he was a software developer for 28 years,
and before that, a mathematics professor at the University of North Carolina,
Chapel Hill. He received his BA in mathematics at Harvard and his MA and
Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley.

Donald is happily married and has three grown sons, two granddaughters, and
two great-granddaughters. He sings with the DC Labor Chorus and plays tennis
whenever he can.
