Meet Don Spencer

Don Spencer is a veteran hypnotist, hypnosis instructor, author, and entertainer with approximately four decades of experience.

His interest in hypnosis began at age 12. After years of studying the mind, human behavior, and hypnotic methods, Don began practicing as a clinical hypnotherapist in 1986.

Among his influential teachers were:

• Charles Tebbetts
• Ormond McGill
• Jim Russell
• Gil Boyne
• Other prominent figures within the hypnosis profession

Don’s career expanded rapidly from private client work into professional instruction. He founded the Hypnotism Training Institute of Idaho in 1989, followed by Hypnotism Training International in Utah in 1991. He also established the Personal Achievement Center for private consultations and later developed SleepNow Productions.

During the height of his private practice, Don operated four offices across two states while directing two hypnosis schools. He eventually shifted his focus beyond full-time private practice to reach larger audiences through professional training, publishing, recorded programs, live entertainment, and online education.
