Jaime Feldman, DCH, is the Director of Accredited Hypnosis Counseling and The Institute of Hypnotherapy. He has practiced and taught hypnosis since approximately 1990, with a particular interest in Advanced Parts Therapy.
Before entering the hypnosis profession, Jaime worked in computer engineering, management, communications, and consulting. His analytical and educational background helped shape his structured approach to hypnosis, behavioral patterns, and professional training.
What Is Parts Therapy?
Parts Therapy is based on the idea that people may experience different internal motivations, perspectives, or “parts.” One part may consciously want to change while another continues a behavior because it associates that behavior with protection, comfort, safety, or another perceived benefit.
During a Parts Therapy session, the practitioner may help the client:
- Identify conflicting motivations
- Explore the protective purpose associated with a behavior
- Understand thoughts and emotions connected with the pattern
- Develop alternative responses
- Encourage greater cooperation between competing internal goals
The word “parts” is a therapeutic metaphor. It does not mean that every person literally has multiple personalities. Parts Therapy should not be used to diagnose dissociative identity disorder or another psychiatric condition.
It also cannot establish that every behavioral problem has one hidden cause or that the cause can always be discovered accurately through hypnosis.

Hello Dr Feldman. We spoke last year about your help. I had some setbacks with cancer removal and healing
I’m in villages too. I was playing golf and collapsed .i think it was from vertigo
That’s gone now but since falling several times I utilize a Walker
I can carry the Walker in air and walk fine. Put it down and my mind says falling over. I’m afraid to walk in public and can’t step up or down on curbs. Can you deal with this phobia. I read you do house calls.
