Meet Kathryn Shearer

Kathryn Shearer is the Director of Charlotte Hypnosis and has been in private practice since 1986. After more than three decades of practice in Charlotte, Kathryn now provides hypnotherapy sessions primarily by telephone, allowing clients to participate from the privacy and convenience of home.

Kathryn’s interest in hypnosis began through personal experience. During the 1970s, while developing and directing a residential treatment program for adolescents with significant emotional and behavioral needs, she experienced hypnosis as a client. She credits the process with helping her stop smoking after previous attempts had been unsuccessful.

Following years of study with experienced hypnosis professionals, Kathryn developed a particular interest in helping clients address:
