Explore What Lies Beneath the Surface

Your sessions may include conversation, hypnotherapy, mindfulness, guided imagery, somatic awareness, creative exploration, family-systems work, or other approaches selected around your age, needs, goals, and preferences.

Hypnotherapy may be integrated into ongoing counseling or used as focused, short-term support for a specific concern. You remain able to communicate and make choices throughout hypnosis.

Spiritual, metaphysical, and energy-based practices are optional.

From Hypnotherapy to Counseling

Jillian began working as a hypnotherapist in 2011. Her fascination with the subconscious mind led her to explore how past experiences, relationships, family patterns, and the body can influence present-day emotions and behavior.

After several years as a hypnotherapist and energy-healing practitioner, Jillian entered graduate school in 2016. She wanted to expand her professional skills and develop longer-term therapeutic relationships with clients.

Jillian earned a master’s degree in psychology with a counseling focus from Saybrook University. After graduating, she continued her education through training in primary attachment psychotherapy, Process Work, family constellations, Nonviolent Communication, pre- and perinatal psychology, sand tray and play therapy, craniosacral work, Reiki, and other integrative approaches.

Why Might You Choose Jillian Brown in White Salmon?

If an unwanted habit or emotional reaction seems connected to deeper experiences, relationships, or family patterns, Jillian Brown offers an integrative approach combining counseling and hypnotherapy.

Jillian holds a master’s degree in psychology with a counseling focus and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She began working as a hypnotherapist in 2011 before completing her graduate counseling education. This combination may benefit you if you want hypnosis incorporated into a broader therapeutic process rather than treated solely as a stand-alone behavior-change technique.
