Counseling, Healing, and Hypnosis in White Salmon

Are you looking for a counselor and hypnotherapist serving White Salmon and the Columbia River Gorge?

Biography:  Jillian Brown is a mental-health counselor, hypnotherapist, and integrative practitioner who works with tweens, teenagers, and adults. Her approach brings together counseling, hypnotherapy, attachment-focused work, depth psychology, family systems, somatic awareness, creative therapies, and complementary healing practices.

Jillian helps clients explore the deeper patterns behind emotional distress, relationship difficulties, unwanted behaviors, and the feeling of repeatedly becoming stuck in the same experience.

From Hypnotherapy to Counseling

Jillian began working as a hypnotherapist in 2011. Her fascination with the subconscious mind led her to explore how past experiences, relationships, family patterns, and the body can influence present-day emotions and behavior.

After several years as a hypnotherapist and energy-healing practitioner, Jillian entered graduate school in 2016. She wanted to expand her professional skills and develop longer-term therapeutic relationships with clients.

Jillian earned a master’s degree in psychology with a counseling focus from Saybrook University. After graduating, she continued her education through training in primary attachment psychotherapy, Process Work, family constellations, Nonviolent Communication, pre- and perinatal psychology, sand tray and play therapy, craniosacral work, Reiki, and other integrative approaches.

Exploring the Patterns Beneath the Surface

Jillian’s work is informed by depth psychology and a deep interest in the subconscious mind. She helps clients explore questions such as:

  • Why does this keep happening?

  • Why do I repeatedly make the same choices?

  • Why do I feel stuck in this pattern?

  • Where did this emotional reaction begin?

  • How are earlier relationships affecting my life today?

  • What do I need to feel more secure within myself?

  • How can I reconnect with my inner direction and sense of purpose?

Her goal is to help clients bring unconscious patterns into awareness, understand how those patterns developed, and create healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
